Sammi Rosenfeld, MD LCPC/DC LPC, NCC

Sammi joined our Diener community in 2020. She is the School Counseling supervisor and supports K-8. Sammi received her BFA with high honors in Dance with a minor in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan and her M.S.Ed with high honors in School and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in both Maryland and Washington, DC, and is also a National Certified Counselor. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner and is a trained SPACE provider. She uses her professional dance background, experience as a school counselor at a Title 1 Philadelphia public school, and studies in play and expressive arts therapies to inspire her current therapeutic approach. Sammi brings the experience she gains from her private practice and dance classes she leads into her work with Diener students every day. Sammi teaches weekly SEL classes to every grade at Diener to help the students navigate our world safely and with enthusiasm. She supports students with their individual needs and leads counseling groups. She is grateful to be a part of the Diener community.
