Sarah Michael
Sarah joined The Diener School in 2024, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in speech-language pathology. She earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Maryland and holds a minor in linguistics, enhancing her expertise in language structure and development. Sarah began her career in public schools, working with students from early childhood through middle school, and later provided individualized therapy in a private practice setting. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist in Maryland and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her experience spans working with children as young as six months to young adults up to age 21, addressing a wide range of speech and language challenges. Sarah is passionate about fostering communication skills through collaboration with students, families, and colleagues, and is proud to be part of the Diener community.
