Jake Cassell's Scholarship Fund

subhead-graphic

Jake was a friend to everyone.

Jake was beloved by everyone who knew him. His smile was contagious and he lived life to the fullest every single day. He was a ray of sunshine to every single person he came into contact with.

Jake never let his special needs stop him from accomplishing anything. He was an engaged member of his communities near and far. He was an active member of The Rock youth group at McLean Bible Church and recently went on a mission trip to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Jake was also a volunteer with Project Honduran Child, a Christian nonprofit that supports children who may not be able to attend school because of their families' impoverished backgrounds.

Jake was just a month shy of receiving his Eagle Scout rank after years of hard work and dedication. And of course, Jake was known by everyone as the Churchill Bulldog Mascot. He was the core spirit of the entire school and was always proud to be a Bulldog.

Jake was an adored student at The Diener School for 5 years. The Cassell family thanks you for donating to this scholarship fund in Jake’s name. The Jake Cassell Scholarship Fund will support special needs children who otherwise may not have been able to afford to attend The Diener School.
