Bridging Home and School

To create awareness at home in the areas of social skills, executive functioning skills and interpersonal skills and to support generalization across the school and home settings.

Monthly Topics

Following the Virtues Project, each month will focus on a different virtue:

October: Orderliness
November: Flexibility
December: Generosity
January: Enthusiasm
February: Assertiveness
March: Forgiveness
April: Friendliness
May: Responsibility and Self-discipline

Activities based on Curricula

The Contest

Exit tickets will be sent home at the end of each week in the 8 months from October through May with 3 suggested activities for families and students to complete (only 1 is necessary).

Students will earn $10 Diener Dollars when they bring in the signed sheet from home.

The class with the highest percentage of participation will earn an ice cream party.
